As part of our dedication to building the highest performance automobiles,
VSOP Racing Development has an AWD Dynojet dynamometer in our shop.
The dyno mounts inside the shop floor, and uses 4 massive 24-inch rollers.
The vehicle is driven up on the rollers and strapped down for a "run."
On a run, the vehicle is accelerated through the gears, and the dyno
measures the engine and vehicle speed and acceleration, computing
a horsepower and torque curve on an attached computer.

Additionally, We have the Wide Band Commander Air/Fuel Ratio Monitor
allowing us to tune a customers vechicle accuratly and safely.
The dyno can handle up to 1000 HP and 180mph on AWD and
for RWD or FWD it can handle upwards of 1800hp and 200MPH!


 

There are several advantages in having the dyno at our shop:
  • No need to go to the track to dial-in the ECU parameters.
  • The dyno does repeatable measurements. No more second-guessing whether a performance item makes a difference or not.
  • We can provide concrete evidence of what works and what doesn't work.
  • When there's a problem at mid or full throttle, it is much simpler to strap the car to the dyno than to try to figure out what's wrong at the track.

    Front or Rear Wheel Drive:
  • $65.00/ 1-Pull or $85.00/ 3-Pulls
  • Or, $105.00 per hour
  • $185.00 per hour to Dyno Tune your vehicle with an Apex Super AFC or any DSMLink System.
  • $200.00 per hour to Dyno Tune your vehicle with an AEM EMS or any Haltech System.
  • Or, $100.00 per hour for those who wish to dyno tune their own vehicles.

    One of our staff members will help you setup your vehicle on the dyno and show you how it works. You can make 1 pass or 100 passes.

    All Wheel Drive:
  • $85.00/ 1-Pull or $105.00/ 3-Pulls
  • Or, $150.00 per hour
  • $185.00 per hour to Dyno Tune your vehicle with an Apex Super AFC or any DSMLink System.

    Group Dyno Days:
    We also host "Dyno Days”. This is where a car club or a group of individuals (up to 16 cars) get together and schedule an 8-hour dyno on a Saturday or Sunday. The dyno day typically begins at 9:00am and runs until 6:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break from 12:30pm-1:30pm. The cost includes the dyno rental, color dyno printouts, and a technician to operate the dyno and to strap down the vehicles.
  • $700/day
    For an additional charge, we can accommodate larger groups. Please give us a call to schedule an appointment.
    A $200.00 deposit is required to schedule a Dyno Day.
    Dyno Day Cancellation Policy:
    In the event that a Dyno Day has to be rescheduled or canceled for some reason, we must receive a phone call or written notice via fax at least 72-hours prior to the scheduled Dyno Day. If we do not receive notice, then a $100.00 charge will be deducted from the original deposited amount.
